What is it all about? The government has made it clear that its key priorities for schools include raising standards of pupil behaviour and tackling all forms of bullying. To do this it wants to restore teachers' authority to the classroom and make sure they have clear guidance to help them feel confident in exercising that authority. The guidance, along with comments from the consultation, will be published in July.
