Luton Borough Council's children's services have been praised in a joint review. The report said the council had developed a good range of family support services, high-quality assessments were undertaken, and sound systems of care management and support for looked-after children had been developed. More than three-fifths of people would like to spend an extra hour a day with their families, according to a new charity.
